WordPress Migration & Launch Prep

I have a complete WordPress site that needs to be moved to a brand-new hosting account and domain. After migration, I want the site polished so it is truly launch-ready.

The core of the job is straightforward: copy the existing files and database, update any hard-coded URLs, and make sure SSL, permalinks, and caching are all working on the new server. Once the site is live on its new home, I’ll need two categories of refinements:

• Design adjustments – specifically restructuring several page layouts. This means rearranging sections within key pages and adding or removing blocks where necessary, while making sure the overall visual flow remains clean and consistent.
• Functionality enhancements – tidying up any plugins or settings that might break after the move, testing forms, and confirming that dynamic features (search, membership, etc.) behave exactly as before, or better.

I’ll provide full access to both the current installation and the new hosting control panel, along with a shortlist of pages that need layout changes. When you hand the project back, the site must load quickly, pass a basic speed test, display perfectly on mobile, and have all links, forms, and security certificates functioning.
