I’m kicking off a brand-new web application and need a seasoned software engineer who can take it from blank repo to live, cloud-hosted MVP. The brief is intentionally open so we can shape the product together, but the first release must cover a range of core features—secure user authentication, the foundations for e-commerce transactions, and simple content-management tools. If you have a smarter way to bundle those or you think we should stage them differently, I’m happy to hear your reasoning.

You’re free to recommend the stack; I lean toward a modern front-end framework such as React or Vue paired with Node.js, Django, or Laravel on the back end, plus a relational database. Whatever we choose, I need clean, test-covered code in a Git repo I can access and a deployment path that works on a mainstream cloud provider.

Deliverables

• MVP coded and deployed to a staging URL I can review

Acceptance criteria
• Responsive UI in current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge
• Working sign-up/login with hashed passwords and session management
• Product flow that supports adding items to a cart and completing a test checkout
• Editable content blocks (pages or posts) via a simple admin interface
• Automated tests covering critical paths
