I’m rolling out a synchronously-activated automation control system and I want two electrical engineers to carry it from concept to commissioning. The work is hands-on and end-to-end: you’ll shape the system design and architecture, write and integrate the control code, then prove everything through exhaustive testing and maintenance hand-off.
What the assignment looks like
• System design & architecture – produce detailed schematics, BOMs, panel layouts and safety documentation that keep every actuator and sensor in perfect step.
• Programming & integration – develop IEC 61131-3 compliant logic (PLC or embedded) and interface it with existing SCADA and field devices so activation remains phase-locked throughout.
• Testing & maintenance – create the test plan, run timing analysis (≤1 ms jitter tolerance), document results and refine until the system meets spec.
Deliverables will include native CAD files, commented source code, a verified timing report and a concise maintenance guide.
When you apply, focus on your experience with automation control projects that demanded tight synchronous operation—particularly any work involving multi-axis motion, coordinated drives or high-speed sequencing. Two engineers will be selected and will collaborate directly with me and each other, so clear communication and version-controlled workflows (Git, SVN or similar) are a must.
