My calendar fills up fast and my inbox follows suit, so I’m bringing in a virtual assistant who can keep both under control while helping with day-to-day research and bookings.
Here’s the core of what you’ll handle:
• Calendar & appointments – block, reschedule, and send invites with priority given to work meetings and deadlines. I use Google Calendar and Microsoft Teams, so you’ll work inside those tools.
• Inbox & messages – triage daily mail in Gmail, draft replies for my approval, flag anything time-sensitive, and archive the noise.
• Research & bookings – find data or service options I ask for (flights, hotel rooms, vendor quotes, quick market facts) and complete the booking or prep a short brief.
Access & workflow
You’ll have delegated access that lets you draft but not send emails without my OK. For messages, a shared Slack channel or WhatsApp chat will keep quick questions moving.
Success looks like a clean inbox at the end of each day, a calendar that never double-books, and well-documented research ready when I need it.
If you’re organized, responsive, and comfortable with Google Workspace, Outlook, Zoom, and standard travel-booking sites, I’d love to hear how you’d approach this.
