Shopify Product Page Speed Boost

My Shopify product page is stuck at a 68 score on Google PageSpeed Insights and the drag is visible on both desktop and mobile. I’m aiming for a noticeably faster, smoother experience without sacrificing design or core app functionality.

Focus of the work
Images and media need proper compression, next-gen formats, and lazy-loading. JavaScript and CSS require minification, deferral, and removal of any render-blocking or unused snippets. Several apps have probably left behind excess code, so a careful audit is part of the brief as well.

Current setup & visibility
All testing is done with Google PageSpeed Insights, so final results will be measured there. If you prefer an additional benchmark such as GTmetrix or Pingdom, feel free to reference it, but the Google numbers are the figures that matter.

Deliverables
• Optimised images/media implemented on the live product page
• Streamlined JavaScript and CSS with no broken functionality
• App/plugin audit with redundant code removed or commented for deactivation
• Before-and-after PageSpeed reports showing the improvement on desktop and mobile

Acceptance
The job is complete when the product page consistently loads faster and achieves a materially higher PageSpeed score than the current 68 without visual or functional regressions. Preferably 85+. i don’t want any of my apps removed. they all needed
