MySQL Customer Data Entry & Cleansing

I have an Excel spreadsheet containing between 1,000 and 5,000 customer records that need to be loaded into an existing MySQL table. Before anything is inserted, I want each row validated and cleaned—duplicates removed, obvious typos corrected, phone numbers and email addresses checked for proper format, and any blank mandatory fields flagged.

Once the data passes validation, it should be batch-imported into the database using efficient, transaction-safe methods so I can roll back if something looks wrong. I’ll give you direct access to a staging copy of the schema along with a sample record layout.

Deliverables
• Cleaned, fully validated Excel file (or CSV) showing any corrections made
• SQL (or LOAD DATA) script or step-by-step procedure used for the import
• Confirmation report summarising total records processed, errors fixed, and rows successfully inserted

Accuracy is more important than speed. If you’ve worked with MySQL bulk imports, data cleansing tools, or scripts in Python/PHP for similar projects, that’s exactly the skill set I need.
