Remove Odoo Invoice Duplicates

I need a careful pass through my Odoo database to locate and eliminate duplicate sales invoices—there should be fewer than 50 of them in total. Everything else in the books is in good shape, so the task is confined strictly to the invoice register.

Here is what I expect:
• Identify every duplicated invoice entry, confirm which record is authoritative, and merge or delete the extras without breaking any existing links (payments, journal items, customer statements).
• Produce a brief after-action report listing each duplicate you found, the action you took, and the new invoice number that remains in the system.

You will work directly inside my live Odoo instance (v15) with temporary access that I provide. Accuracy and an audit-friendly trail are more important than speed; I just want the invoice list clean and trustable again.
