We are a growing Australian music marketing agency looking for reliable freelancers to research independent music artists and build accurate, verified lead databases.

This is a **long-term opportunity with consistent ongoing work** for freelancers who can deliver high-quality research.

**This is strictly a research and data collection role. No sales, outreach, music listening, or personalised writing is required.**

### What You'll Be Doing

- Discovering independent and emerging music artists on Spotify and other music platforms.
- Checking artists against our specific qualification criteria.
- Finding publicly available, direct artist contact email addresses.
- Verifying email addresses against their original published sources.
- Checking for duplicates using our provided database checker.
- Entering accurate information into a structured spreadsheet.

### Artist Requirements

All submitted artists must meet the following criteria:

- Based outside Australia, primarily in the US, UK, Canada, New Zealand, or relevant European markets.
- Between 100 and 10,000 Spotify monthly listeners.
- Released music within the past 6 months.
- Independent or emerging artists, not major-label acts.
- Relevant commercial genres, including indie, rock, alternative, pop, hip-hop, R&B, electronic, and similar styles.
- Genuine active artists, not AI-generated projects or instrumental-only acts.
- Have a publicly published, direct artist or band-operated email address.
- Have an official Instagram profile.
- Not already present in our existing database.

Emails belonging to management companies, record labels, PR agencies, or unrelated organisations are not accepted.

### Required Spreadsheet Information

Each lead must include:

1. Artist name
2. Country
3. Spotify artist URL
4. Spotify monthly listeners
5. Most recent qualifying song and release date
6. Direct contact email
7. URL showing where the email is publicly published
8. Official Instagram URL
9. Artist independence verification
10. Discovery source

We will provide the spreadsheet format, full qualification instructions, and access to our duplicate-checking system.

**Accuracy is extremely important.** Incomplete, duplicate, unqualified, or unverified leads will not count towards completed batches.

### Payment & Ongoing Work

We are initially offering a **paid trial of $20 USD for 50 accepted leads**.

Successful freelancers will be offered consistent ongoing work, with a minimum target of 50 accepted leads per week and opportunities to complete significantly larger batches.

We are looking to build a team of reliable researchers, so there is substantial potential for ongoing work.
