We are a software development company outsourcing the game-development component of a project being developed for one of our clients.
We are looking for a game developer or development team to build a mobile roll-and-move board game for Android, inspired by traditional games such as Snakes and Ladders.
Players take turns rolling dice and moving their game piece across a predefined board. Certain spaces on the board are special event spaces that can either move the player forward or backward.
The game has an educational purpose. When a player lands on a special space, the game will display educational content provided by our client:
Positive actions or behaviors allow the player to advance.
Negative actions or behaviors cause the player to move backward.
The purpose is to reinforce educational messages through simple gameplay mechanics.
The first player to reach the final space wins the game.
The developer will be responsible for preparing and publishing the final production version of the game on Google Play, using the account designated for the project. Prior experience in publishing games on Google Play is required.
See the detailed description of the project in the attached document.
