I need a diligent researcher to comb through Miami-Dade County public and court records and locate surplus proceeds that may still be waiting to be claimed. The focus is on both tax sale surplus funds and mortgage foreclosure surplus funds, nothing else. Please limit your search to Florida—no out-of-state data is useful for this project.

For every potential lead you uncover, capture the case number, property address, sale date, amount reported, and the exact office or online source where the information was found. Once you have the basics, confirm that the funds are still unclaimed and identify whether the former owner or another party appears entitled to them; this step must be verified directly with the clerk, court docket, or other official channel, not just an aggregator site.
