Manual Entry of Scanned Text

I have several scanned documents that need to be converted into editable digital text with 100 % accuracy. Because the source files are images, this is a fully manual data-entry job—no scraping tools or automated OCR are to be used.

You’ll read each scanned page, type the contents exactly as shown, and preserve original formatting such as paragraph breaks, headings, and any bold or italic emphasis. Spelling, punctuation, and line order must match the source; however, obvious scanning artifacts (random symbols or blank lines) should be left out so the final file remains clean.

The finished text should be delivered as both a Word document and a UTF-8 encoded .txt file. I will spot-check against the scans, so accuracy is critical; the assignment is complete only when every page matches the original.
