I run a PHP Laravel website that needs both fresh functionality and a solid round of maintenance. Before we move on to the new features, I want to clean up the outstanding issues that are hurting performance and user experience.

Current pain points you will tackle:
• Front-end display issues – pages occasionally break layout on mobile and certain components are not rendering as designed in Blade templates.
• Backend functionality errors – several controller actions throw unexpected exceptions, and some queued jobs never complete.
• Database connection problems – intermittent time-outs and occasional lost writes suggest query optimisation and possibly a review of the connection settings.

Once these are stable I’d like to discuss and prioritise the feature enhancements (think user workflow improvements, additional business logic, maybe a dashboard module). Your first milestone is therefore a bug-free, smoothly loading site with clean logs.

You will work in a Git-based flow (feature branches, PRs, code review), follow Laravel best practices, and keep changes well documented. I can spin up a staging server for testing and will provide clear reproduction steps for each reported issue.

Deliverables are accepted when:
1. All listed bugs are fixed and verified on staging.
2. No new errors appear in the Laravel logs after 48 hours of test traffic.
3. Code is merged to the production branch with migration scripts (if any) included.

If you are comfortable diving into an existing codebase, optimising MySQL queries, tweaking Blade/CSS, and writing clean, testable PHP, I’d love to hear how quickly you can start.
