Jira Workflow & Project Setup

I need an experienced Jira administrator to get one of our software-development projects fully configured and running smoothly. The immediate focus is on two areas: setting up a clean, practical workflow and configuring the overall project settings so the team can start sprinting without friction.

For the workflow side, the project follows a standard software-development life-cycle, but the default scheme doesn’t match how we track work. I’d like you to:
• Build or adjust a Software Development workflow that maps to our stages (analysis → dev → code review → QA → done).
• Customise issue types and their field layouts so each screen shows only the information relevant to that issue type.
• Define sensible transition rules and validators that enforce our process without becoming a bottleneck.
• Fine-tune notification schemes so the right people are alerted at the right moments—no more, no less.

On the project-configuration side, you’ll make sure permissions, boards, and any required schemes are wired up correctly, and that releases, components, and versions are set for straightforward reporting in Jira and on our dashboards.

Please outline the steps you’ll take, any prerequisite information you need from me, and the estimated turnaround time. Once the configuration is complete, a brief hand-off document or screenshare to walk me through the changes will wrap things up.
