Independent Smart-Home / Building Controls Technician

We are looking for an independent technical professional for a one-off remote technical handover assessment lasting approximately 75–100 minutes.

Suitable experience includes smart-home systems, building automation/BMS, KNX, ELV, AV/control systems, PLC/SCADA, commissioning, troubleshooting, or similar technical systems.

The selected person will review two short sanitized technical handover packages and answer a fixed set of takeover/troubleshooting questions based only on the supplied information.

During the assessment, no AI tools, web search, outside documentation, or help from another person will be allowed.

This is an independent evaluation only — no installation or ongoing work is required.

Please include:

1- years of relevant hands-on experience;
2- your main technical background;
3- examples of commissioning/troubleshooting/handover experience;
4- your fixed total price for the 75–100 minute task.
