The core of the job is to finish my GoDaddy Online Store so every physical product I sell triggers an automatic email receipt that includes a secure link to download a PDF cookbook.
Where I am now: the site is live on GoDaddy Website Builder, inventory is loaded, but the checkout flow is still bare-bones. I need someone who knows the GoDaddy dashboard inside out to wire everything together, make the shopping experience smooth, and be sure the digital file is delivered without exposing the direct URL.
Scope of work
• Configure GoDaddy’s built-in e-commerce tools so credit/debit card payments run flawlessly through the GoDaddy Payments gateway (no PayPal or bank transfer for now).
• Set up product variations—think size or color selectors—so they display cleanly on the product pages and feed accurate stock levels to the cart.
• Attach the PDF cookbook to every order confirmation: shoppers should receive one receipt email with their order details plus a clearly labeled “Download Your Cookbook” button. The link must remain active for the customer but hidden from public indexing.
• Tweak any layout items that break during the process and double-check mobile responsiveness.
Acceptance criteria
1. I can place a live test order with a credit card, receive the email receipt, and download the cookbook successfully.
2. Product variations adjust price and inventory correctly in the cart.
3. No direct PDF link is publicly visible or searchable.
