The goal is to launch a browser-based platform that guides students and other self-learners through business-focused challenges. The stack is already defined—React for the interface, Node.js for the API layer, Firebase/Firestore for real-time data and auth, with Supabase filling any gaps where relational storage or serverless functions are a better fit.
Core build tasks
• Implement secure authentication and session handling (email, Google, etc.) directly against Firebase.
• Wire a clean, minimalistic React UI to real-time Firestore data, keeping the layout fully responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
• Expose a small, well-documented Node.js REST layer to support business logic, challenge creation, user profiles, and activity tracking.
• Add social-sharing hooks so learners can broadcast achievements with a single click.
• Set up CI/CD and perform a production deployment—Firebase Hosting or Vercel is fine—then stay on for initial bug fixes.
Acceptance criteria
– Every major feature (auth, profile, challenges, tracking) passes UX smoke tests on Chrome, Safari, and a current mobile browser.
– Lighthouse performance scores ≥ 90 on desktop and mobile.
– Code remains fully typed (TypeScript) and readable, with clear commit history in GitHub.
– A concise README documents environment variables, local setup, and deployment steps.
Please reply with links to two or three live projects that show comparable React/Node/Firebase work, plus a high-level estimate of effort and timeline. I’m flexible on budget and milestones as long as the build stays clean, scalable, and on schedule.
