I need firmware that drives a coin-based game consisting of 64 distinct blocks (levels). A single coin starts the sequence; at every new level the coin count must automatically double, so by the final block the machine shows the full progression from 1 to 2⁶³.

The board will be operated only through physical buttons—no touch panel or mobile link is required. When a player clears a level, the machine simply has to light a notification LED; no extra sounds or on-screen messages are necessary.

Core tasks for you:
• Write clean, well-commented code that tracks the current level, performs the doubling logic, and updates persistence so progress survives a power cycle.
• Drive the LED output the instant a level completes.
• Map the button inputs for starting, advancing, and reset actions.

I am open to whichever microcontroller platform you prefer (Arduino, Raspberry Pi Pico, STM32, etc.), provided you include all pin definitions and a quick wiring diagram so I can reproduce the setup. While classic coin sort or counterfeit-detection features could be interesting later, they are outside this initial scope.

Deliverables are the full source code, a compiled binary (if applicable), and a brief README explaining deployment steps.
