Fix Stripe & Affiliate Integration

Our WooCommerce checkout is throwing Stripe gateway error messages that surface as “declined payment” notices even when a customer’s card is valid. Orders never complete and the affiliate platform tied to each sale obviously registers nothing as a result.

I need someone to dive into the Stripe settings, logs, and webhooks, isolate the reason for the declines, repair whatever is mis-configured or outdated, and then make sure the affiliate tracking fires correctly once a payment succeeds. If the issue sits inside theme customisations, a conflict with other plugins, or outdated API keys, please track it down and resolve it rather than applying a quick patch.

Acceptance criteria:
• A real-world test transaction processes through Stripe without any error messages.
• The successful order appears in WooCommerce with the correct status and confirmation email.
• The affiliate system (same WordPress install) records the commission for that order.
• A clear summary is provided of the changes you made so I can maintain them going forward.

Everything happens on the live site, so please outline a safe rollback plan or use a staging clone before touching production. Familiarity with WordPress, WooCommerce, Stripe dashboards, and typical affiliate plugins is essential.
