Convert Financial CSV to Excel

I have a CSV file filled with financial data—every row is numbers, dates, and account labels that need to be reviewed in Excel rather than a flat text grid. I simply need the contents moved into an .xlsx workbook with each field correctly recognised as a number, date, or text so formulas, filters, and pivot tables will work without extra cleanup on my side.
