The core features of my Android app are already coded, but persistent bugs—especially around real-time notifications—are preventing a full launch. I need you to step in, diagnose, and resolve every remaining issue so the application reaches 100 % stability and passes Google’s review first time.
Scope of work
• Investigate and repair the current real-time notification failure (messages are never delivered).
• Run a complete QA sweep, squashing any other crashes, UI glitches, or performance problems you uncover.
• Wire up Firebase, external APIs, and the payment gateway should any of those links still be missing or mis-configured.
• Prepare production-ready builds: signed APK and AAB produced with a fresh keystore.
• Upload the release to my Google Play Console and walk through Developer Verification until Google accepts the submission.
Deliverables
1. Fully functional source code in Android Studio format.
2. Production keystore + password and the final APK/AAB.
3. Any service credentials or console access tokens generated during the job.
4. Change log summarising every fix applied and where it lives in the codebase.
Acceptance criteria
– Push notifications arrive instantly on multiple test devices running Android 8 – 14.
– No crashes in Play Console pre-launch report.
– App approved for publishing without further changes.
If you have proven experience debugging and shipping Firebase-powered Android apps, this should be straightforward work. I’ll be available for quick answers and can provide immediate access to the repository and Play Console once we start.
