PLEASE READ POST CAREFULLY
I’m looking to turn a classic marble concept into a lightweight, competitive 2D mobile game. Players should be able to flick their marble on-screen and knock rivals out of a circular arena, with each quick match deciding the winner. The whole experience must feel snappy, require only one hand to play, and run smoothly on mid-range Android and iOS devices.
Core mechanics
• 2D top-down arena where physics determines marble speed, spin, and collision outcomes.
• Real-time head-to-head mode (quick matchmaking or room code).
• Simple touch controls: pull-back power meter, release to shoot.
• Win condition: last marble standing or highest score in a timed round.
Visual style
Flat, colourful 2D art with subtle shadows and highlights—clean enough to keep file size small but lively enough to look modern on Retina and high-dpi screens.
Ideal toolset
Unity or Godot (I’m open, as long as you can export to both Android & iOS and the physics feel natural).
Deliverables
1. Playable builds for Android (APK/AAB) and iOS (TestFlight).
2. Full commented source code and asset folder.
3. Simple lobby/quick-match backend (Firebase, Photon, or similar).
4. One arena, three marble skins, short menu flow, and basic sound effects.
5. Post-launch bug-fix window (two weeks).
Acceptance criteria
• Stable 60 fps on devices from 2019 onward.
• Matches connect and finish without desync in 95 % of test runs.
• Touch input maps precisely to in-game force and direction.
If you’ve shipped any real-time mobile titles or physics-heavy mini-games, send a link—I’d love to see them and kick this off quickly.
