AI-Driven Military History Videos

I’m producing a short-form educational video series covering key battles and conflicts throughout military history. Each episode will run approximately 2–5 minutes and should feel authoritative, visually polished, and engaging for a broad online audience.

I’m looking for someone who can handle the full production workflow from research through final delivery, with the potential for a long-term collaboration if the work meets expectations. The goal is to build a YouTube channel with consistent, high-quality content.

The work will include:

- End-to-end video production: research, scripting, AI visuals/animation, voiceover, editing, sound design, captions, color correction, thumbnail creation, and final 4K export.
- Historical research and accuracy: use credible sources, fact-check key claims, and flag uncertainty rather than inventing details.
- YouTube publishing and channel support: upload videos, add titles/descriptions/thumbnails/captions, schedule releases, apply correct disclosures, and check the final upload.
- Source and asset management: maintain a clear record of research sources, archival material, licenses, AI-generated assets, and project files.
- IP and ownership agreement: all original commissioned work and deliverables are assigned to me upon payment with rights to edit, republish, monetize, translate, license, and reuse.
- Third-party rights and licensing: freelancer is responsible for ensuring any stock materials (e.g., archive footage/music/fonts), AI outputs or subcontracted work can legally be used commercially.
- Confidentiality and account security: protect unreleased material, channel information/credentials/business details; use secure delegated access where possible.
- Deliverables and file handover: final videos plus editable project files (source assets/scripts/captions/thumbnails/audio/prompts/research/reference sheets).
- Payment milestones and revisions: agreed rate/delivery stages/turnaround times/revision limits/approval points.
- Quality control and corrections: freelancer must check factual accuracy/captions/audio/visual consistency/export quality/fix errors they introduced.
- Termination and handover: clear process for ending the relationship/transferring all files/removing account access/handing over unfinished work.
- Independent contractor agreement: covers responsibilities/liability/confidentiality/IP/governing law/limits on subcontracting or spending without approval.

Additional Notes:

- An initial discussion session will be required to align on expectations, workflow processes, and desired output. Example videos I have produced myself will be provided during this session as references.
- A trial is required: freelancers will need to produce the first 30 seconds or 1 minute of an episode to demonstrate their capability before proceeding with the full video.
- Oversight will be provided on scripts/assets during initial stages. Once the freelancer gets it right consistently over time they may manage production independently.

The key priorities are historical accuracy, strong storytelling, realistic visuals, consistency in quality across episodes, professional presentation. The final result should feel closer to a high-quality television or premium YouTube history documentary than generic AI-generated content.

If a viewer can learn something meaningful in under five minutes and the finished episode looks polished enough to broadcast or upload professionally on YouTube channels aimed at broad audiences interested in history documentaries—this project has succeeded.
