SEO & WEBSITE DEVELOPER (WordPress) — Remote, Monthly Pay
About Us
Our Company helps entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses. Our wordpress website is our storefront, and organic search is a core growth channel. We are hiring one person to own both: keep our WordPress site running perfectly and grow qualified organic traffic that turns into leads, sign-ups, and customers.
Starting Pay
$300 USD per month, paid monthly. Pay is earned by completing the listed tasks and metrics on a signed weekly checklist, released after a 4-week+ review, paid upon completion of KPI metrics.
Schedule
Flexible remote, fixed hours workday with a 30-minute lunch. Daily short written update to Admin; weekly report every Friday.
What You Will Do
Website Developer (WordPress site health)
- Keep every page working perfectly on mobile, tablet, and desktop: no broken layouts, menus, images, links, or forms.
- Test login, sign-up, password reset, order buttons, checkout, and all forms end to end.
- Keep page speed under 3 seconds and Core Web Vitals green.
- Run plugin, theme, and WordPress core updates on staging first, with a current backup, then apply live.
- Fix issues the same day or escalate with a screenshot and page URL.
- Weekly cross-browser check (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge).
SEO & Organic Growth
- Publish 100 SEO-optimized templated pages per month (25 per week) through our page generator, using our master template. Upkeep and edit master templates as needed.
- Do keyword research: long-tail, intent-driven, clustered, one primary keyword per page.
- Earn 100 quality backlinks per month (DR 30–50+) through manual outreach. No PBNs, link farms, spam directories, or paid link networks. Paid placements require written approval in advance.
- Technical SEO: keep Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog warnings at zero. Fix redirects, 404s, indexing, schema, and speed issues.
- Conversion engineering: every page has a clear value proposition, benefit-driven H1, primary call to action, trust elements, and verified event tracking.
- First 30 days: establish a documented baseline for organic sessions, leads, registrations, purchases, and conversion rate, and propose weekly/monthly growth targets for approval. Then report baseline vs. target vs. actual every Friday.
Member Website Publishing
- Own customer website publishing requests from intake to completion: connect domains, verify DNS and SSL, publish the site, test layouts/forms/links, and confirm completion with the customer.
- Set up staging builds and handle customer DNS updates.
- Occasional quick WordPress pages or micro-sites using native Gutenberg blocks.
Tools You Will Use
WordPress, Rank Math, Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and our internal SEO dashboard (keyword pipeline, page generator, rank tracker).
Requirements
- Proven WordPress experience: themes, plugins, staging, backups, troubleshooting.
- Working SEO knowledge: on-page, technical, keyword research, and manual link outreach.
- Comfortable in Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog.
- Gutenberg block editor experience (no third-party page builders).
- Strong written English for daily and weekly reports.
- Reliable internet and consistent daily availability.
