I have a collection of Word documents that contain only text, and I need every piece of that content moved into an Excel workbook while keeping the original formatting exactly intact. Paragraph breaks, bullet points, bold or italic emphasis—whatever is on the page now must look the same once it lands in the spreadsheet.
You will receive the Word files as soon as we start. Your job is to create or populate an Excel file so that:
• Each document’s text sits in its own clearly-labeled sheet (or in designated columns/rows if you have a better layout idea).
• All formatting remains preserved; no auto-stripping to plain text.
• The final workbook opens cleanly in the latest Microsoft 365 desktop version without warning dialogs or broken styling.
Feel free to use manual entry, VBA, Power Query, or any other method you’re comfortable with—speed is welcome as long as accuracy and formatting integrity are 100 %. Before delivery I’ll spot-check several sections; mismatched fonts, lost bullets, or merged paragraphs will need correction.
Send the finished .xlsx file along with a quick note describing any automation you used, so future updates are easy for me to replicate.
