Precise Excel Data Entry

I have fewer than fifty cash-related source documents that need to be transcribed into a single, well-structured Excel workbook. Most of what you will handle is straight numerical entry—dates, amounts, references—yet some of the documents come with their own categories or labels. Wherever a category is present, it must be captured exactly as shown; where it is missing, simply leave the category cell blank so the sheet stays uniform.

My expectation is a master spreadsheet that is clean, consistently formatted, and free of transcription errors. I will supply the existing template (basic columns for date, description, category, debit, credit, balance), but you are free to improve cell formatting or add simple data-validation rules if that helps maintain accuracy. Data integrity matters more than speed, so double-checking figures before delivery is essential.

Once you have finished entering the numbers, please give the file one final pass for alignment, remove any stray spaces, and return the completed workbook.
