Word Document Proofreading Task

I have a batch of text-based files already typed in Microsoft Word and now need a meticulous proofread. Your job is to catch every spelling, grammar, punctuation and basic consistency error so the documents are publication-ready.

The scope
• Around thirty Word documents, roughly 1,200 words each
• Content is general business correspondence—nothing highly technical
• Only proofreading is required; the typing and layout work are complete

How I’d like you to work
Use Microsoft Word’s Track Changes so I can review each edit, and leave brief comments where wording is unclear or repetitive. When you finish a file, supply two versions: one marked-up, one clean.

Timeline & hand-off
Please return the first five files within 48 hours; once I confirm everything looks good we can schedule the rest in whichever order suits us both.

Deliverables
• Proofread copies with Track Changes
• Clean, final copies ready to send
• A short note highlighting any recurring issues you spotted
