I have an approved building permit for a single-family home in Central Florida, but I have decided to reduce the size of several windows and change their shapes. Because these tweaks are strictly non-structural, I need a Florida-licensed architect or professional engineer to step in.

What I need from you
• Review the stamped construction set already on file with the county.
• Update the window schedules, elevations, and any related details to show the smaller, re-shaped openings. The new units will be vinyl.
• Sign and seal the revised sheets (electronic and paper if the jurisdiction asks).
• Prepare whatever revision forms or narratives the building department expects and guide me through the submission so the permit stays active.

Timing & availability
The sooner we can move, the better—ideally next week—so I can keep the project on schedule. Let me know when you could start and how long you would need for the turnaround once you receive the current plans.

Fee
Please quote a flat fee or a not-to-exceed amount that covers the plan review, drafting, and permitting assistance. If there are separate costs for additional site visits or expedited county reviews, outline those as well.

Possible extras
I may also need advice on sourcing the vinyl units that meet Florida energy and impact codes. Let me know what that support would add to the scope, or if you can point me to a trusted supplier.

Send over your license information, a brief note on similar permit revisions you have completed, and your estimated timeline and cost. Looking forward to working with someone who knows the Florida code inside and out.
