Weekly WordPress Maintenance & Updates

I run a WordPress site that needs consistent, worry-free management. Every week I expect you to log in, publish or edit new blog posts, push product updates, and carry out any small page redesigns that keep the site fresh. Alongside those visible changes, I also need you to handle the invisible ones: run a full backup, confirm security measures are intact, and tune performance so the pages load quickly for visitors.

Typical weekly flow
• Content: schedule or publish posts I draft in Google Docs, update product details in WooCommerce, and adjust page layouts when I supply new wireframes.
• Security & backups: create an off-site backup, verify plugin and core updates, and scan for malware.
• Performance: optimise images, clear/prime the cache, and review load-time metrics in tools like GTmetrix or PageSpeed Insights, applying fixes where needed.

Please be comfortable working directly in the WordPress dashboard, with common plugins such as Yoast, WP Rocket, UpdraftPlus or similar. Reliable communication is essential; a short Monday status note confirming tasks completed and anything you need from me keeps us both on track.
