Website Final Touches & Launch

I have a nearly finished rebuild of my personal site sitting on sjartistry.in that now needs its last layer of polish before it replaces the current amanjain.in. The job is intentionally small—about half-a-day’s work for the right person—but it covers a few critical areas:

• Books page: tidy the layout, boost visibility of each title and make sure it scales nicely on mobile.
• Calendar: wire in the existing Google Calendar feed so upcoming events show automatically.
• UI enhancements: smooth micro-animations, hover states and any small spacing or font tweaks that still feel off.
• Basic SEO: titles, meta descriptions, alt tags and an .xml sitemap so the new site does not lose its current ranking.
• Google Analytics: copy the exact UA/GA-4 tracking already running on the live site.
• Performance: compress media, defer non-critical scripts and hit a solid score on PageSpeed Insights.
• Go-live: migrate from the temporary host to amanjain.in, test redirects and confirm SSL.

Timing is firm—I want everything signed off and launched in the first week of October 2026.

Separate but related: I also need a lightweight WordPress backend so I can update text, images and new book releases myself. Feel free to break that out as its own quote; the front-end is locked (final Figma files provided), so it’s strictly about connecting the CMS without altering the design.

Acceptance criteria
1. New site visible at amanjain.in with no broken links or console errors.
2. Books page passes mobile-friendly test and reads cleanly on all major browsers.
3. PageSpeed score ≥ 85 on both mobile and desktop.
4. GA real-time tracking shows live traffic post-migration.
5. I receive WordPress credentials and a short loom/video walkthrough if CMS work is included.

Most of the heavy lifting is done; I just need an attentive developer to stitch these final pieces together and push the site across the finish line.
