Develop E-Commerce Web Application

I need a software engineer to design and build a secure, responsive web application that handles full e-commerce functionality from browsing to checkout. The site must let me list products, manage a cart, process payments, and generate order confirmations in real time. Clean code, modern frameworks, and a clear separation between frontend and backend are important so future updates stay painless.

You are free to choose the stack you work fastest with—whether that’s React + Node.js, Django, Laravel, or another proven combination—as long as it meets these acceptance criteria:

• Users can browse products, add items to a cart, and complete checkout with at least one mainstream payment gateway
• Admin area allows me to create, edit, and retire products without touching the codebase
• All data travels over HTTPS, and sensitive details stay encrypted at rest
• The finished app deploys smoothly to a standard cloud host (AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean, or similar) and includes a brief README with setup and deployment steps

Deliverables: source code in a Git repository, a running demo link, and any database schema or migration files required for first-time setup.
