I need a web-based tool that takes my stock order flow—from signal to execution—and automates it reliably. The application should sit in the browser, connect to my broker’s API, and handle order creation, modification, and cancellation in real time. Automated trading is the core requirement: once strategy rules are set, the system must fire orders without manual input, respecting position limits, risk parameters, and exchange hours.
Key pieces of the build:
• A responsive front end where I can upload or edit strategy rules, view open positions, and track order status.
• A back-end engine (Python, Node.js, or similar) that listens to WebSocket/REST market feeds, evaluates the strategy logic, and sends orders instantly.
• Persistent storage for trade history and logs, preferably in PostgreSQL or MongoDB, exposed through an API so I can analyse performance later.
• Basic user authentication and SSL so I can operate this securely from any browser.
Acceptance criteria
1. I enter a strategy rule set, press “Activate”, and the system places, amends, and exits trades automatically.
2. Positions, P/L, and recent fills update on the dashboard within one second of execution.
3. All events are written to a timestamped log I can export as CSV.
4. Code is delivered in a clean Git repo with setup instructions that reproduce the service on my VPS.
A solid React + FastAPI stack—or comparable framework—would be perfect, but I’m open to alternatives if they achieve the same latency and reliability.
