Video Ad Creator Needed — Script + Editing | 2 Sales Ads for mens wellness digital product
Fixed Budget: ₹500 Total
Deliverables: 2 Video Ads
Duration: 2+ Minutes Each
Platform: Facebook + Instagram
I'm looking for a freelancer who can create 2 strong sales video ads from scratch, including both:
Script writing
Video editing
I will provide a competitor advertisement that is already performing well in this market.
Your job is to study the competitor ad carefully and create new, original ads inspired by the same successful marketing approach, while making the script, visuals and presentation different.
The brand/product name will be shared privately with the selected freelancer.
What I Will Provide
I will provide:
Competitor advertisement/reference
Product information
Target audience information
Any available product images/videos
Additional references if required
You will be responsible for developing the actual ad concept, script and final edit.
Your Job
1. Study the Competitor Ad
Before writing the script, understand:
What is the hook?
Why does the first few seconds work?
What pain point is being targeted?
How is the problem presented?
How is emotion created?
How is curiosity maintained?
How is the solution introduced?
How is trust built?
How is the offer presented?
What makes the viewer continue watching?
What is the CTA strategy?
I don't want a simple copy of the competitor.
I want you to understand why the competitor ad works and create a stronger/original variation using the same underlying advertising psychology.
2. Write the Script
You need to create the complete script yourself.
Each video should be:
2+ minutes
The script should have a clear structure such as:
HOOK → PROBLEM → EMOTIONAL STORY → AGITATION → BELIEF SHIFT → SOLUTION → OFFER → CTA
The script should be designed specifically for:
Facebook + Instagram sales campaigns.
3. Strong Hook Is Extremely Important
The first 3–5 seconds need to stop the scroll.
Do NOT begin with:
"Hello everyone..."
"Today we're going to talk about..."
"My name is..."
"Are you suffering from..."
Avoid generic introductions.
Start with something that immediately creates:
Curiosity
Emotional recognition
Tension
A strong question
A surprising statement
A relatable situation
The viewer should have a reason to keep watching.
4. Emotional Storytelling
The subject is personal and intimate, so the ad needs to feel emotionally real.
The audience should be able to think:
"This is exactly what happens to me."
The script can explore themes such as:
Bedroom anxiety
Fear of disappointing a partner
Loss of confidence
Overthinking before intimacy
Relationship tension
Repeated attempts to find solutions
Frustration with temporary solutions
Feeling embarrassed
Fear of the next time
Mental pressure
Wanting better control
The storytelling should be emotionally strong but tasteful.
Do not shame or humiliate the audience.
5. Solution Positioning
The solution should not feel like it suddenly appears at the end.
Build the story so that the solution feels like the logical answer to the problem.
The underlying positioning is:
Instead of constantly looking for random temporary solutions, men can learn to understand and train their response.
The freelancer should turn this into a compelling sales narrative based on the competitor's successful structure.
6. Originality Requirement
IMPORTANT:
I am providing the competitor ad because it is a proven reference.
I do NOT want:
Word-for-word copying
Same script
Same sentences
Same characters
Same scene sequence
Direct imitation
I want:
Same marketing psychology + different creative execution + original script.
The final ad should feel like a completely new advertisement.
7. Video Editing
After creating the script, you will edit the complete video.
The final video should feel:
Cinematic
Emotional
Professional
Modern
Premium
Story-driven
Suitable for paid advertising
Avoid:
Cheap templates
Generic slideshow editing
Excessive transitions
Random stock footage
Overuse of effects
Excessive animations
Meme-style editing
Corporate presentation style
8. AI Video / AI Image Experience
Experience with AI-generated:
Characters
Images
Video
Voice
B-roll
is a BIG advantage.
If you can create realistic AI characters and cinematic scenes, mention it in your application.
However, the final output must look believable and professional — not obviously AI-generated.
9. Voiceover / Dialogue
If the concept requires dialogue:
The dialogue should sound like a real Indian conversation.
Preferred:
Natural Indian English/Hinglish
Conversational delivery
Emotional but controlled
Clear pronunciation
Believable acting
Avoid:
Robotic AI voice
Newsreader voice
Motivational speaker voice
Overly dramatic acting
Obvious advertisement voice
10. Visual Storytelling
Don't rely only on talking heads.
Use visuals to tell the story.
Depending on the script, this could include:
Couple interactions
Bedroom situations
Getting ready
Walking
Phone searches
Overthinking
Quiet moments
Relationship tension
Emotional reactions
Lifestyle scenes
Before/after emotional contrast
All visuals must remain tasteful and appropriate for Facebook/Instagram advertising.
11. Important: No Explicit Content
The subject can involve intimate/bedroom problems, but the advertisement must remain tasteful.
Do NOT use:
Nudity
Explicit sexual activity
Pornographic visuals
Graphic sexual imagery
Sexualized camera angles
The emotional problem should be communicated through:
facial expressions + dialogue + relationship + storytelling.
12. Text & Graphics
Use on-screen text where it improves retention.
Important statements can be highlighted.
But don't turn the entire video into a wall of text.
Typography should be:
Clean
Large
Mobile-friendly
Professional
Easy to read
13. Facebook & Instagram Requirements
Final videos should be optimized for:
9:16 vertical
Suitable for:
Instagram Reels
Instagram Stories
Facebook Reels
Facebook mobile placements
Make sure important visual elements and text remain inside safe areas.
14. Deliverables
You will create:
AD 1
Original script
2+ minute video
Final edited version
9:16 vertical
AD 2
Original script
2+ minute video
Final edited version
9:16 vertical
Both should be different creative angles, not the same advertisement with minor changes.
15. Creative Testing
I want two different approaches.
For example:
Ad 1
Relationship/emotional angle
Ad 2
Problem/solution/shortcut angle
The two ads should target the same audience but use different psychological entry points.
16. Freelancer Requirements
I'm specifically looking for someone who can do more than basic editing.
You should understand:
Direct-response advertising
Facebook/Instagram ads
Hooks
Retention
Emotional storytelling
Sales psychology
Scriptwriting
Video editing
AI-generated content
If you only edit videos and cannot develop scripts, this project may not be suitable.
17. Application Requirements
Please send:
Your previous sales/ad videos
Examples of storytelling ads you've created
Examples of scripts you've written, if available
Experience with AI video/image generation
Experience creating Facebook/Instagram ads
Confirmation that you can handle BOTH script + editing
Confirmation that you accept the fixed ₹500 total budget for 2 ads
Estimated delivery time
Most important:
Please send 2–3 examples of your strongest sales advertisements, not just a general editing portfolio.
Budget
₹500 FIXED TOTAL
For:
2 complete 2+ minute sales video ads
Including:
Script + Editing
I understand this is a small-budget test project. If the quality is strong and the ads are useful, there may be opportunities for additional work.
What I'm Ultimately Looking For
I don't want someone who simply takes my competitor's video and changes the words.
I want someone who can watch a successful competitor ad and think:
"I understand why this works. Now let me create an original version that uses the same winning psychology."
The goal is:
STOP → WATCH → RELATE → FEEL → TRUST → TAKE ACTION
If you can do that within the budget, please apply
