Logo and brand book design — Venezuelan premium pet products brand
We're looking for a designer to build the visual identity for Mi Pana Pet, a new Venezuelan brand of premium pet care products (food, litter, pads, accessories, and hygiene). We manufacture in China but the brand itself is 100% Venezuelan, competing in a market where "premium" today is associated almost exclusively with brands imported from the US.
About the brand: personality is Caregiver + Sage — it protects and provides wellbeing, but backed by knowledge and high standards, not just talk. Voice is warm, classic, balanced between serious and playful, balanced between technical and emotional. Ideal customer: Carolina, a professional woman over 30, with a family, short on time, who values quality and trusts serious brands over the cheapest option. The logo should evoke relief and trust — like someone finally found a product that actually works.
What we need: a combination mark logo (symbol + name), that works in flat black and stays legible at 16px (favicon/app size). Primary palette leaning toward luxury and sophistication (blacks, golds, burgundy), while still respecting recognizable color codes of the pet industry. Typography: a mix — serif for the logotype and headlines, humanist sans serif for packaging, social, and body text. Standard brand guidelines document (10-20 pages) for internal team use.
What we don't want: no red, pink, purple, or pastel tones (reads as childish). No emblem/crest style logos. Nothing resembling Carter's, Target, or Microsoft in color or typography.
References we love: Cartier, Carolina Herrera, Tesla, Amazon, Zara — that level of sophistication and trust, applied to a pet brand.
Deliverables: logo with variants (color, black, white, reduced version for apps/favicon), color palette with HEX/CMYK/Pantone codes, typography system, brand guidelines PDF.
Portfolio: please include brand identity work you've done, ideally for consumer products, retail, or pet brands.
Intellectual property and authorship: all delivered work (final designs, discarded concepts, and source files) will become the exclusive property of Mi Pana Pet upon full payment of the project. The freelancer transfers all copyright and commercial usage rights of the material. The designer may include the project in their personal portfolio, but may not resell or reuse it for other clients.
