Project Overview

We are looking for an experienced Unity 3D Game Developer to develop a mobile game inspired by the gameplay style shown in the attached reference image.

The game will combine endless/level-based runner mechanics, shooting/action gameplay, number-based gates, enemy encounters, and character progression.

The player controls a 3D character running forward along a track. During the level, the player encounters different obstacles, enemies, weapons, and numerical gates. The player must make strategic choices to increase their strength, eliminate enemies, and reach the end of the level successfully.

The final game should be smooth, polished, visually appealing, optimized for mobile devices, and designed with an engaging casual-game experience.

---

Core Gameplay

The developer will be responsible for implementing the following gameplay systems:

1. Third-Person/Runner Movement

Character automatically moves forward.

Player controls horizontal movement using touch/swipe controls.

Smooth lane switching or free horizontal movement.

Character animation while running.

Collision detection with obstacles and enemies.

Camera follows the player dynamically.

2. Number/Choice Gates

The game should include gates.

For example:

+10

+20

x2

x3

-5

-10

The player chooses which gate to pass through.

Depending on the gate, the player's:

Attack power

Number of units

Score

Health

Weapon strength

Character count

can increase or decrease.

The system should be designed so that new gate types and values can easily be configured without programming.

3. Shooting / Combat System

The player should be able to attack enemies encountered on the track.

Required features:

Automatic shooting

Weapon system

Projectile system

Enemy health

Damage calculation

Enemy death animations

Hit effects

Muzzle flash

Impact effects

Sound effects

Different enemy types

The architecture should allow additional weapons and enemies to be added later.

4. Enemy System

Enemies should spawn at different points throughout a level.

Different enemy behaviors can include:

Standing enemies

Moving enemies

Chasing enemies

Groups of enemies

Strong/boss enemies

Enemy difficulty should increase as the player progresses.

5. Obstacles

Levels should contain various obstacles such as:

Walls

Barriers

Moving objects

Traps

Negative-number gates

Enemy groups

Destructible objects

Collision and interaction should feel responsive and satisfying.

---

Level System

The game should be level-based rather than one completely endless environment.

Each level should contain:

1. Starting point

2. Running section

3. Number/choice gates

4. Enemy encounters

5. Obstacles

6. Combat sections

7. Increasing difficulty

8. Final challenge/boss

9. Victory/reward screen

The developer should create a reusable level system so that we can produce additional levels quickly.

Ideally, level configuration should be data-driven, allowing designers to change:

Enemy positions

Gate values

Gate types

Spawn rates

Track length

Difficulty

Rewards

Bosses

without changing the core code.

---

Character System

Player Character

Implement:

3D character

Idle animation

Running animation

Shooting animation

Hit animation

Death animation

Victory animation

The architecture should allow us to replace the character model later.

Character Upgrade System

Potential upgrades include:

Damage

Fire rate

Health

Movement speed

Weapon level

Critical damage

Number of projectiles

---

Weapons

The initial version should support several weapon types, for example:

Pistol

Rifle

Machine gun

Shotgun

Laser/futuristic weapon

Each weapon should have configurable:

Damage

Fire rate

Range

Projectile speed

Magazine size

Reload time

Critical chance

A modular weapon system is important because additional weapons may be added after launch.

---

Economy

The game should have an in-game currency system.

For example:

Coins / Gold

Used for:

Character upgrades

Weapons

Unlocking content

Power upgrades

The economy should be configurable from a central system.

---

UI/UX

Developer should implement a clean mobile UI including:

Main Menu

Play

Character

Weapons

Upgrade

Settings

Currency display

Gameplay HUD

Player health

Current power/number

Progress indicator

Currency

Weapon information

Pause button

Result Screen

Level Complete

Score

Coins earned

Rewards

Upgrade option

Next Level

Failure Screen

Retry

Revive, if implemented

Return to menu

---

Art & Visual Effects

The game should have a bright, polished 3D mobile-game appearance similar in overall presentation to the reference.

Required:

3D environment

Character models

Enemy models

Weapons

Track/environment assets

Particle effects

Shooting effects

Hit effects

Explosions

Gate effects

Level-complete effects

---

Audio

Implement:

Background music

Shooting sounds

Enemy sounds

Hit sounds

Gate selection sounds

Coin/reward sounds

UI sounds

Victory sound

Failure sound

Audio should be managed through a centralized audio manager.

---
