I have a small set of legal documents, no more than five pages in total, originally written in Swahili. They contain specialised legal terminology that must be rendered into precise, natural-sounding English without altering the intended meaning or tone. Accuracy is critical: every clause, definition and reference must match the original so the translated version can hold up to professional or court scrutiny.

I will supply clean, scanned copies (or Word files if preferred). Your task is to return:

• A faithful English translation, formatted to mirror the source layout as closely as practical
• A short translator’s note only where wording cannot be rendered literally and an explanation is required for clarity

Experience with contracts, statutes or similar legal papers in both Swahili and English is essential. If you hold a formal certification in legal translation, please mention it; otherwise, demonstrated expertise through prior work samples will suffice. Strict confidentiality applies, and I ask that all shared files be deleted once the project is complete.

Turnaround of three days or less would be ideal, but let me know if you need a little longer.
