# Automation Developer Needed – YouTube Meme Shorts System

I am looking for an experienced **n8n automation developer** to build a mostly automated system for creating and publishing **YouTube Shorts in a “Top 5 / Ranking / Meme” format**.

### What I want to automate

The basic concept is:

**Meme/Funny Video Sources → Collect Clips → Select/Rank Best Clips → Generate Short → Add Captions/SFX → Final Video → YouTube Upload**

Example videos:

- Top 5 Memes You Can't Stop Laughing At
- Top 5 Funniest Fails
- Top 5 Crazy Cat Moments
- Top 5 Instant Karma Moments
- Top 5 “Bro What?” Moments

The system should be designed so that I can eventually produce **multiple Shorts per day with minimal manual work.**

### 1. Content Collection

Build an n8n workflow that can collect video/meme assets from **legal/licensed/public-domain sources or sources where I have permission to use the content**.

I want the system to:

- Collect new content automatically
- Store source URL
- Store/download the video asset where legally permitted
- Avoid duplicate clips
- Maintain a content database
- Track which clips have already been used

Please recommend the best APIs/tools for this.

### 2. AI Clip Selection

The system should automatically analyze the collected clips and select the best ones for a Short.

Ideally AI should score clips based on:

- Funny/entertaining potential
- Hook potential
- Visual quality
- Duration
- Engagement potential
- Whether the clip fits the selected category

Example:

Input: 30 clips

Output:

**#5 → Clip A**
**#4 → Clip B**
**#3 → Clip C**
**#2 → Clip D**
**#1 → Clip E**

The system should prioritize the strongest clip for #1.

Use an AI API to automatically generate the Short's:

- Opening hook
- Ranking labels
- Short commentary where appropriate

etc.

The exact format should be configurable.
