Stripe Connect Architecture Consultation

I’m preparing to launch a multi-country marketplace and need an expert to validate how we should wire everything together in Stripe. My top priority is getting payments and payment security right, so I want a seasoned professional who already knows the quirks of Stripe Connect, Stripe Identity, and the wider ecosystem of webhooks, restricted keys, and sandbox testing.

Your first assignment is straightforward: audit Stripe’s current capabilities against our marketplace needs and map out the optimal technical architecture. The architecture must cover these critical workflows:

• Payment authorizations
• Refunds and disputes
• Payout workflows

Please ground your recommendations in real-world experience—show me where you’ve implemented similar flows, handled KYC/KYB onboarding, and managed multi-country roll-outs. If you’ve debugged webhook race conditions, locked down API keys, or navigated disputed-charge reversals, highlight that. I’m not interested in generic proposals; concise evidence of relevant experience is what will move you to the top of the list.

Deliverables will be a clear architecture brief (diagrams + narrative) and a call to walk me through trade-offs, potential compliance pitfalls, and next steps for implementation.
