Context: This is running lighting for a fraternity house party and future house events, not a professional install. Priority is that it works reliably and is quick to set up, not that it's built a specific way.

Location requirement: Must be based in or able to travel to the Chicago area for at least one in-person setup/testing session against the actual rig before it's used at an event. Remote-only will not be considered.

What I have (hardware already ordered/owned, no build work needed):

25x ENDYSHOW LED Pixel Light Bars (60W, 90 RGB LEDs each = 30 individually addressable zones per bar, DMX512 with selectable 3/5/8/90 channel modes) — arranged as 5 ceiling lines, 5 bars daisy-chained per line (150 zones per line, 30 zones x 5 bars)
Each bar will run in 90-channel mode (30 zones x 3ch RGB) so effects can address every zone individually
1x Pknight CR061S Art-Net node (8 DMX universes out) — each of the 5 ceiling lines patched to its own universe (450 of 512 channels used per universe, 5 of 8 universes used, 3 spare)
DMX cabling, terminators, PowerCon power chain, feed cords and power strips already sized and ordered
Ethernet adapter + cable to connect a laptop to the Art-Net node
A laptop that will run the control software (Windows or macOS — spec which you have)

What I need built:
Software that:

Captures live audio from a mic or line-in (DJ deck)
Performs real-time beat/onset detection with end-to-end latency ≤120ms from kick drum to visible light response
Outputs Art-Net (ArtDMX) over UDP to the Pknight node's IP, correctly mapped to the 5 universes (one per ceiling line) and the DMX start address of each of the 5 bars within a line (90 channels per bar — addressing provided once patched)
Drives at least 3 distinct beat-synced modes across all 5 lines simultaneously (e.g. full-line pulse on kick, ripple/chase across the 150 zones in a line, strobe on hard transients) — switchable live via keypress or a simple UI, no restart needed
Runs unattended once launched — auto-detects the audio input and starts reacting, no per-song calibration
Ships with a plain-English setup guide (assume no prior technical experience) covering: installing/launching the software, selecting the audio device, entering the node's IP and each bar's DMX address, and troubleshooting

Stack/language: Your call entirely. Custom code (any language), or an existing audio-reactive lighting platform (e.g. TouchDesigner, Resolume Arena, QLC+, or similar) that outputs Art-Net — whatever you can deliver most reliably. State what you're proposing and why in your quote.

Deliverables:

Working software (source code if custom-built, or project/patch file plus licence/purchase info if built on existing software)
Setup guide as above
In-person setup/testing session in Chicago
10–15 minute screen-recorded demo showing it running against real music with visible beat-lock

Nice to have:

Basic mode-switching/brightness control from a phone on the same Wi-Fi
A config file so DMX addressing can be edited without touching the core setup
java javascript c# programming c++ programming node.js software development audio processing audio editing lighting design audio engineering
