I’m expanding the test coverage of our STATIM legal-domain management platform and need a self-sufficient QA engineer who can move comfortably between exploratory/manual work and solid, maintainable automation.

Here is what you will help me with:
• Review existing user stories and craft crisp manual test cases that cover happy paths, edge cases, and legal-domain specifics.
• Convert the high-value scenarios into Cucumber feature files and automate them with Selenium WebDriver, Java, and Maven so they slot straight into our pipeline.
• Run regular functional and regression cycles, maintain clean test data, and log concise, reproducible defects.
• Track each issue through its full life cycle, retesting rapidly after fixes and keeping communication clear with devs and product.

Success for this engagement means:
• All critical workflow areas have passing automated coverage in our CI job.
• Defects are triaged with clear steps, evidence, and priority.
• Manual smoke and exploratory notes are up to date for each sprint review.

If you have strong experience using Selenium WebDriver, Cucumber, and Maven on comparable projects, I’d like to hear how you approached similar challenges and the results you achieved.
