Field Survey Freelancer – Spare Parts Dealers & Mechanics – Tirunelveli

Job Description

We are conducting a small market-validation survey for a proposed local spare-parts directory in Tirunelveli.
We need a Tamil-speaking freelancer based in/around Tirunelveli to conduct face-to-face surveys.
Survey target: 10 genuine spare-parts dealers + 10 mechanics/workshops within Tirunelveli city/urban area.
We will provide the questionnaire in printed format; you will record responses in a Google Form.
Dealer categories include 2-wheeler, car/auto/LCV, tractor/agri machinery and auto-electrical spare parts.
Mechanics may be from 2-wheeler, car, auto/3-wheeler, tractor/agri or commercial-vehicle workshops.
For each dealer, please confirm that the business actually deals in relevant vehicle spare parts, not only accessories/service.
For each completed survey, record the shop/workshop name, locality and respondent's role/name where they are comfortable providing it.
Please do not promise listing, customers, sales, income or any other benefit to respondents.
Participation must be voluntary; do not pressure anyone to answer.
No money, sales collection, orders or payments should be collected from respondents.
For verification, submit the visited shop/workshop name + locality + date/time + Google Maps/location reference or shopfront evidence where reasonably available and permitted.
Do not collect Aadhaar, bank details or other unnecessary sensitive personal information.
Mechanics can be identified through dealer referrals, workshop clusters and nearby workshops, not only through online searches.
Target duration: approximately 5 minutes per survey, with reasonable time for travel.
Initial target is 20 completed surveys (10 dealers + 10 mechanics); replacements should be discussed with me before replacing a selected target.
