The current part exists as a 3D AutoCAD file; I need it rebuilt in native SolidWorks and re-engineered so it can be vacuum-thermoformed in polycarbonate. While translating the geometry, please introduce the draft angles, radii, parting lines and uniform wall thicknesses that a thermoformer expects, keeping an eye on avoiding under-cuts and sink.

Improving functionality is the priority. In practice that means the finished shell must assemble more easily with the mating hardware, so features such as self-locating tabs, snap-fits or simple screw bosses may be required. If you see other small tweaks that make the part simpler to pull from the mould without adding cost, include them and note your reasoning.

Deliverables
• Native SolidWorks 2023 (or earlier) model(s) + STEP exchange file
• Fully dimensioned 2-D manufacturing drawing set (PDF and DWG)
• Brief design report highlighting the added draft, wall changes and assembly aids

Acceptance criteria
• Passes SolidWorks draft analysis ≥3° everywhere that contacts the mould
• Polycarbonate-appropriate radii on all external corners
• All assembly features align in the CAD and show zero interference

Once the CAD and drawings clear review, the job is complete and I can hand them straight to the thermoformer.
