Senior CADWorx Midstream Piping Designer

Experienced CADWorx Plant Professional (Octave Forte 3DWorx by Octave) Drafter needed. Houston Texas area - needed for 40 hrs per week.

Preferably LOCAL TO HOUSTON TEXAS US AREA in case on-site work is required.

Experience: 7+ years of piping design experience in the Midstream industry

Role Description: The Piping Designer will be responsible for the following:

Generation of detailed models of piping systems.
Determining optimum equipment and piping layout and tie-in locations.
Participate in internal 3D model reviews and client model reviews.
Perform vendor data review of equipment and components
Serve as the lead designer on one or more projects
Assist Project Manager in identifying scope changes
Performs preliminary drawing checks before packages reaches Project Manager
Skills and Qualifications: 7+ years of Mechanical design experience in the Midstream Industry.

3d modeling of midstream oil and gas projects
Mastered cutting and annotating plan & section drawings
Proficient in ISOGEN
Proficient in creating and editing CADWorx specs
Basic knowledge of materials
Proficient in field verification and measurements
Working knowledge of codes and standards
Working knowledge of reference documents and guides
Complete mastery of Design Drafter and Senior Design Drafter essential functions.
Very strong knowledge of AutoCAD, CADWorx Plant, ISOGEN, CADWorx P&ID and Microsoft Office products.
