We are looking for a skilled and motivated Part-Time Revit Designer to join our growing team and help us create accurate 3D BIM models for diverse projects.
Job Overview
As a Revit MEP Designer, you will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and construction documentation for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems using Autodesk Revit. You will work closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure designs meet client requirements, industry standards, and project timelines.
This is a part-time role, ideal for professionals seeking flexible hours while contributing to exciting startup projects.
Key Responsibilities
Develop accurate 3D BIM models for MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical) using Autodesk Revit.
Produce detailed shop drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and schedules from Revit models.
Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve design clashes and ensure constructability.
Ensure all models and drawings comply with relevant building codes, standards, and client specifications.
Perform basic quantity take-offs and support material scheduling as needed.
Maintain version control and organize project files systematically.
Meet project deadlines and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced startup environment.
Required Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field.
1–3 years of hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit MEP (mandatory).
Strong understanding of MEP systems and BIM workflows.
Proficiency in Revit families, parameters, and modeling best practices.
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote or hybrid setup.
Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and commitment to quality.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
Experience with Navisworks for clash detection.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or other design tools.
Exposure to industrial plant or commercial building projects.
