Retro Game Challenge Website

I’m building a site that lets players post and track video-game challenges the way speedrun.com tracks record times. The job covers three connected pieces of work:
• Badge system
Every challenge will award a bespoke badge. I need a simple back-office tool (even a JSON/CSV-driven script is fine) that lets me create and upload new badge graphics, set unlock conditions and have them appear automatically in user profiles.
• Brand identity
A retro-gaming logo—think bright pixel art or 16-bit arcade flair—should headline the site. Final files must include scalable vectors and a favicon that ties into the badge style.
Deliverables
– Fully functioning badge creation workflow integrated with user accounts
– Retro gaming-style, clean simple logo in SVG, PNG and favicon sizes
– All source files, style guide and brief hand-off notes
Acceptance
Smooth registration, badge unlocks reflected instantly on profiles, chat loads without refresh, and pages score 90+ on Google Lighthouse.
Stack is flexible—React, Vue, Laravel, WordPress with custom plugins, whichever you prefer—so long as it meets the above criteria and is easy for me to update later. Let’s create a home for gamers to prove their skills and show off their hard-earned badges.
