Remote Software Project Manager

I need a dependable, highly-organized project manager who can keep our distributed software development team running smoothly on a month-to-month contract. Your core mission is simple: turn our feature ideas into clearly defined tasks, keep every ticket moving, and make sure deadlines never slip.

Here is what day-to-day looks like:

• Set up and maintain our task board in whichever modern tool you prefer—Asana, Trello, Jira, or something similar.
• Break features into actionable tasks, assign owners, and follow up until each item is closed.
• Monitor progress and risks, updating timelines and milestones as you go.
• Send concise weekly status summaries by email (our primary communication channel), flagging blockers early so the team can react quickly.
• Work independently, yet remain available for occasional check-ins when deeper discussion is needed.

You do not have to write code, but experience shepherding software or web projects through design, development, and launch will make you instantly effective.
