Record Azerbaijani Speech Remotely

I’m building a speech dataset and need adult, native speakers of the Azerbaijani used in Azerbaijan to record short prompts from home. You’ll be using your Android phone’s microphone, capturing the audio in clean PCM/WAV format. Because I work in a very quiet setting myself, I expect the same level of silence on your end so the files pass our noise check the first time.

Here’s how it works: once you accept, I send you a link with a script and simple naming rules. You record, upload, and I review for clarity, volume, and accent accuracy. Approved material is paid at $10 per recorded hour.

Deliverable
– Up to one hour of clear, well-labeled WAV files that meet the technical and linguistic guidelines.

Payment is released only after the files are verified, but I’ll flag any issues quickly so you can re-record if needed. Work at your own pace—just keep the quality high and meet the agreed deadline.
