QA Test Lead Needed — Coordinate 14 Testers for 14-Day Android App Testing (Milestone-Based)

We are looking for an experienced QA Test Lead / Freelancer to manage and coordinate a structured testing effort for our Android mobile application. You will be responsible for organizing a team of 14 testers to test the app daily over a 14-day period, following a milestone-based Agile approach.

**Project Overview:**
The engagement will be split into clear milestones. After each milestone, you will share testing results and findings with us for review. Once we confirm and approve the results, we proceed to the next milestone. Payment is released per completed and approved milestone, keeping the process transparent for both sides.

**Workflow:**
1. Discuss Requirements — align on the application, testing scope, and test cases
2. Testing Setup — recruit/onboard the 14 testers and prepare test plans, devices, and tracking tools
3. Testing Milestone — execute a defined portion of testing with the 14 testers
4. Results & Report — deliver a structured report of findings (bugs, UX issues, crash logs, device/OS coverage)
5. Client Review & Feedback — we review, ask questions, and confirm results
6. Milestone Payment — released upon approval
7. Repeat for the next milestone until all testing scope is covered
8. Final Testing & Consolidated Report

**Responsibilities:**
- Recruit, onboard, and coordinate 14 daily testers for the full 14-day cycle
- Define test cases and testing scope per milestone in collaboration with us
- Track and consolidate bugs/issues (crash reports, UI/UX issues, device compatibility, performance)
- Prepare clear, structured milestone reports (spreadsheet or bug-tracking tool)
- Be available for review calls/async feedback between milestones
- Ensure test coverage across a reasonable range of Android devices/OS versions

**Requirements:**
- Proven experience managing QA/testing teams for mobile applications (Android required)
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (Jira, Trello, TestRail, Google Sheets, or similar)
- Strong written English for milestone reporting
- Ability to manage a distributed team of 14 testers and keep daily testing on schedule
- Prior experience with milestone-based/Agile freelance engagements on Upwork preferred

**Deliverables per Milestone:**
- List of test cases executed
- Bug/issue log with severity classification
- Screenshots/screen recordings of key issues
- Device/OS coverage summary
- Short summary write-up of milestone results

**Budget & Payment Structure:**
Fixed-price project split into milestones on Upwork (one milestone per testing phase). Please propose your milestone breakdown and rate per milestone based on the 14-day, 14-tester scope described above.

**Duration:** 14 days of active testing (setup and review time in addition)
