We are a small logistics company looking for an experienced Python/Django developer to build a custom inventory management web application. The frontend design is almost finalized; we need a developer to handle the backend and integrate it with the UI.

• REST API in Django (ideally using Django REST Framework) that exposes all core inventory endpoints—products, stock movements, locations, suppliers and customers.
• PostgreSQL as the single source of truth. Please structure the models with future growth in mind; migrations must be clean and documented.
• Real-time stock tracking. I’m open to Channels, Redis or any approach you prefer, as long as users see quantity changes instantly across sessions.
• Role-based access. We’ll start with three roles—Admin, Staff and Read-Only—and permissions should be enforced both in the API and the dashboard views.
• Smooth integration with the existing Figma design: your templates (or React/Vue components if you split the stack) must match the provided layouts pixel-perfectly.
• Unit tests that cover critical paths plus a short README explaining setup, environment variables and deployment steps.
