I’m starting with a lean first release of a full-scale cinema platform and need a developer who can get the browsing experience production-ready. For this initial milestone visitors must be able to:

• view movie details, trailers, and release dates
• search and filter by genre, language, and release date
• choose a city to see nearby cinemas and listings

Nothing beyond browsing has to function yet—seat selection and payment will come in later phases, so structure the codebase so those modules can slot in without refactoring the core.

Design & UX
The site should mirror the premium, dark-themed look and smooth micro-animations of the reference (https://cineverse-blond-nine.vercel.app/bookings). Think responsive layouts, subtle motion on hover, and high-res artwork that still loads quickly. I’d like the homepage to showcase featured and trending titles, with a hero banner, poster grid, and a concise location selector.

Tech Expectations
Modern JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks are fine—React, Next.js, Vue, SvelteKit, whichever you’re most productive in—as long as routing stays fast and code is cleanly organised. Optimise assets, keep components reusable, and use sensible animation libraries (Framer Motion, GSAP, or native CSS where it fits).

Deliverables for this milestone
1. Fully functional movie-browsing web app matching the spec above
2. Mobile-first responsive design
3. Well-commented source code in a public or private repo
4. Brief setup/README so I can spin it up locally

When you apply, please link to past work that shows comparable UI polish or media-rich sites; I’ll shortlist based on that portfolio alone.
