Power BI Specialist for FreightPOP Reporting

FreightPOP is a logistics software platform (TMS/WMS) used by shippers to manage freight and warehouse operations. We're looking for an experienced Power BI developer to build a customer-facing report from our Snowflake data. This starts as one report, with good potential for ongoing work.

Scope:

- Connect to Snowflake, then clean and transform the data using SQL and Power Query
- Build a well-structured star-schema semantic model
- Write performant DAX measures for logistics KPIs
- Design polished, intuitive visuals for our customers
- Implement row-level security so each customer sees only their own data
- Document the model, measures and RLS logic

Our embedding pipeline is already in place, so this role focuses on the report, the model and security. Full report requirements will be shared at kickoff.

Deliverables:

- Published Power BI report (.pbix) and semantic model
- Working, tested RLS
- Brief documentation of the model and measures

Must-haves:

- Strong Power BI skills: DAX, Power Query and data modeling
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake as a Power BI data source
- Row-level security implementation experience
- Portfolio of polished, client-facing dashboards

Nice-to-haves:

- Logistics, freight, supply chain or warehouse data experience
- Experience building reports for multi-tenant SaaS products
- Familiarity with Import vs. DirectQuery tradeoffs on Snowflake
